April 2025

As of April 1st, the general practice has switched to a new phone system.

With the new system, you also have the option to request a call back. This will help you avoid long wait times, and our assistants can better manage the workload throughout the day.

It is no longer possible to be transferred to the physiotherapy practice. To reach them, please call their direct number at 020-5400180.

Message from Sam de Lange, Practice Nurse for Diabetes and Elderly Care

Dear patients,

When I started working here in 2014 in elderly care, I never could have imagined that over the next ten years, I would find so much joy in working at Maasstraat. Over the years, I gradually increased my hours and also took on the care of diabetes patients alongside the elderly.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to build relationships with so many special people and contribute to improving quality of life and health.

The time has now come for me to take the next step. As many of you know, I have many interests and activities, such as beekeeping and various tasks related to our home in Wormer. I want to make more time for these.

The decision to resign was not an easy one. I will greatly miss the special contact with patients and colleagues here.

I will be at the practice until April 1st, and I hope to see or speak to most of you before my last day. I will do my best to personally inform everyone.

I would like to thank all the patients and colleagues I have worked with over the years for the wonderful cooperation. I will not soon forget the experiences and conversations with the patients, and I have learned so much during my time here at the practice.

I hope we may cross paths again in the Rivierenbuurt. I wish you all the very best!

Zarah Abeln is junior GP in the practice Haeck and Touber from 1 september 2024.
